Honestly, when I started this blog, it was meant to be all fun and games, people checking in to see how a young Christian woman could still be vibrant. It will still be like that, but now I realize something.
The devil is fighting me. The devil is fighting me and that isn’t fun. That isn’t pretty and that most certainly isn’t easy.
I know he has already lost the battle:
Colossians 2:15 (And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it).
But that doesn’t mean he won’t try. I can’t continue to write about frivolous things when such things are happening to me. I can’t stress enough how aware we need to be that we are in a battleground!!
Young people need to know the truth. The truth is that we need Jesus now more than ever. The truth is that He can come back anytime!! What are we doing about it?
The devil is fighting to get into our hearts and minds. Remember the word says, he knows he has but a short time.
Revelations 12:12 (Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time).
He already has the World’s music and entertainment industry in his slimy grip.
He already has people subconsciously stepping away from God. What about you? Has he (Satan) got you stepping away from your Bible and into frivolous activities? Have you stepped away from service because “you don’t get along with the unit members”?
He may have the world in his grip, but don’t let him have you. Never! The bible says resist the devil.
James 4:7 (Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.)
Resistance isn’t smooth. It requires force. Remember that.
So when you see that my posts aren’t as carefree as you expected, please bear with me. I write by the Spirit’s leading and I am being led to write serious pieces for now.
